A note from Jamie

A change in how we work

Blunt Force Carpentry is changing how we work. The cost of running full on-site jobs — materials, fuel, travel, insurance, license fees, and energy — has gotten a lot higher, and we won’t push those increases onto you.

So we’re focusing on shop-built work: furniture, outdoor furniture, custom tables, cabinetry, and whatever you can dream up. It’s more profitable for us to build on our home trade skills and sell that work than to pass rising costs on to you.

Keeping our overhead down means those savings go back to the customer — better quality than you’d find at a big-box store, at the same price or a little more for the craft.

This isn’t the end of on-site work. It’s the direction we’re moving for now, with the goal of getting back out there someday. All projects in progress have been completed.
